The 2002 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers Robert Groffier Magnum is a red wine from Burgundy, France, produced by Domaine Robert Groffier. This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the premier cru vineyard of Les Sentiers in Chambolle-Musigny.

In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color with hints of purple. On the nose, it has aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and red currant, along with notes of earth, forest floor, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of dark fruit, black tea, and a touch of oak. The tannins are firm and well-structured, giving the wine a long, persistent finish.

The 2002 vintage was an excellent year for Burgundy, producing wines with great depth and concentration. The wine was aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 50% of which were new, adding complexity and depth to the wine.

This particular bottle comes in a magnum size, which is equivalent to two regular bottles of wine. This allows the wine to age more slowly and develop more complexity over time.

Overall, the 2002 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers Robert Groffier Magnum is a beautiful example of a premier cru Burgundy, with excellent structure and complexity. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now or aged for several more years.
